A brilliant surgeon kidnaps young women in order to procure their faces in hopes to restore his daughter’s face that was destroyed in a car wreck. Not scary, but definitely creepy. The surgical scene is more graphic than the one in John Woo’s Face/Off even though it’s from 1960 and shot in black and white. Quiet film, but very effective.
