An American seminary student who is questioning his faith is sent to Italy to learn of exorcism from a priest experienced in the subject. The standard is set pretty high for movies about exorcisms, but this one is far better than other wannabes. It helps that it has a story we haven’t seen before. Hopkins is still a powerhouse.
