“You’re letting people in.” “Every person we save is one less zombie to fight.”
“You’re letting people in.” “Every person we save is one less zombie to fight.”
One of my all time favourite films. Perfectly cast with a dream ensemble. Some of the best dialog ever put to celluloid. The violence is brutal and breathtaking. One phenomenal scene after another, pure movie magic. Love it.

“There are no two words in the English language more harmful than good job.”
The dream team casting of Treat Williams and Joe Piscopo was finally realized for this horror-action-comedy. Filled to the brim with good ol’ clean ’80s fun, camp and violence. It doesn’t take itself too serious nor should it. Silliness abound.
“A secret society exists, and is living among all of us. They are neither people nor animals, but something in-between.”
Totally original, totally inventive movie. Edgar Wright is at the top of his game. Endlessly funny, wonderfully creative. I only wish it performed better at the box office so there could have been a sequel. Michael Cera is perfect; Kieran Culkin steals every scene he’s in.

“Don’t worry about that. I’m very maternal. And Albert’s practically a breast.”
Darkly humourous, visually disgusting, perfect entertainment for warped minds like mine. Definitely not for everyone. I remember a few people getting up and leaving during the screening. More than a few cringe-inducing scenes as well as one of the strangest moments you’ll ever see in a movie. Pancakes!!!
