“I liked when Red woke-up and saw he was dreaming.”
Slam-bang, testosterone-filled sci-fi actioner. Easily one of Arnie’s best for action, extreme violence and cheesy one-liners. Stellar creature make-up and effects. It’s sad that its legacy has been somewhat tainted by lesser sequels and spin-offs.
Stanley Kubrick’s Vietnam war classic told in two parts, boot camp and combat. The first half of the film is by far the best part of the movie. Even though R. Lee Ermey is basically playing himself, no one could have done it any better. He’s so f’ing good. While still intense, the second half …

A weak anthology horror in the vein of the much superior Twilight Zone and Creepshow. The stories are tied together by a librarian telling a reporter about the town’s horrid past. The third tale boasts some pretty graphic violence, but the story itself doesn’t add up to much. Really, the only redeeming aspect of the …

A group of teenagers are stalked by a vengeful genie while they are staying overnight in a museum. The 30-year-old teenagers drink, fool around and laugh wildly at each other’s jokes that aren’t even remotely funny. Creative and gruesome deaths go to waste in this terrible movie. FYI: If you’re in a pinch, you can …

Showing this video is about the most PC I can get when describing this movie. While it doesn’t sum up the whole film, it’s a fair comparison to one scene in particular. Just replace the brownie with a decomposing corpse. Brownie Husband – Saturday Night Live by konbini
An opera of ooze is the best way to describe this movie. Tainted alcohol makes its way thru the homeless community which causes people whom consume it to melt and/or explode in a vast array of colours. This is not a good movie, but its absurdness and gooey special effects takes it to another level. …

Outside of the original, this is easily the best of the Elm Street movies. The makeup and special effects still hold up. Robert Englund gets some great material to work with and he delivers the scares and the laughs. The marionette death scene remains one of the best kills in the horror genre.
A mediocre follow-up to the 1982 horror classic. There’s a couple of decent moments, but all in all, it vastly pales in comparison to the original. The Raft segment is probably the only real highlight.
