“Mr. Brown getting pins stuck into his arm is funny.”
Slam-bang, testosterone-filled sci-fi actioner. Easily one of Arnie’s best for action, extreme violence and cheesy one-liners. Stellar creature make-up and effects. It’s sad that its legacy has been somewhat tainted by lesser sequels and spin-offs.
“I like when Pirate-Captain had the nightmare about the trophy.”
I only ever found the original film passable at best. This is a pretty weak follow-up. Edward Furlong is reliably awful. More gore than the first, but it’s also guilty of having more bore. There is only one reason to ever watch this film. The inspired and amusing performance of Clancy Brown.
“I like it when the Dad says: So, Hi Mom.”

It would not be an enviable task to try and follow-up an absolute classic. While it does not reach the heights of the original, this is a very worthy sequel. Well crafted, very suspenseful script with plenty of clever surprises. Perkins is sublime once again as Norman Bates who may or not be slipping back …

A young man lives his life through the lens of a camera, stalks women and then films their deaths to capture their terror. This movie floored me. A intriguing character study of a introverted voyeur with a tortured upbringing. Complications arise when he grows feelings for a potential subject for one of his films. An …
