Event Horizon – Quickie Review

This is essentially Hellraiser In Space. Incredibly haunting tone throughout the movie. One of the few movies that consistently gives me the willies. Sam Neil is deliciously insane. Watch the found footage of the captain’s video log in slo-mo, it’s horrifying.

Remember The Titans – Quickie Review

My all-time favourite football film. Terrific and inspiring performance by Washington with a strong supporting ensemble. I’ve seen this a countless number of times. A little of the impact is lost when you read up on the true story and see the differences from the story presented in the movie. Still a goose-bumping movie experience.

Critters – Quickie Review

It’s been a while since I’ve seen it, but I remember it being campy fun with a good amount of gore. A nice throwback to the creature features of the ’50s. Rewatch mandatory.
