“It’s too cerebral! We’re trying to make a movie here, not a film!”
“It’s too cerebral! We’re trying to make a movie here, not a film!”
Classic werewolf film. Transformation scenes and makeup effects are still among the best. Darkly funny, great performances all around. Happy retirement to you, Rick Baker.
“Listen to them. Children of the night. What music they make.”
By far, my favourite Hitchcock movie. Funny, exciting and Cary Grant is at his charismatic best. So many classic one-liners.
“My theory on Feds is that they’re like mushrooms, feed ’em shit and keep ’em in the dark”
Fast-moving zombie hordes take over the world. One of the better films of this genre in recent times. Intense and violent, decent effects.
“It’s not you, Ferdy. I’m just not used to be chased around a mall in the middle of the night by killer robots.”
Beautifully filmed Michael Mann movie. L.A. should definitely get character billing. Moody, taut, nicely paced. Cruise makes a great baddie.
“You are a total nutcase, completely deranged, delusional, paranoid. Your thought process is all f*cked up. Your information train is jammed, man!”
Disturbing ’70s exploitation revenge flick. Not for the weak stomached, not for everyone. It knows what it is, and it makes no apologies. Not meant for multiple viewings.
