Vice Versa – Quickie Review
One of many body switches movies churned out in the ’80s. This happens to be one of the better ones. Judge Reinhold and Fred Savage appear to be having a lot of fun with their roles. Great suppporting cast.

Classic werewolf film. Transformation scenes and makeup effects are still among the best. Darkly funny, great performances all around. Happy retirement to you, Rick Baker.
By far, my favourite Hitchcock movie. Funny, exciting and Cary Grant is at his charismatic best. So many classic one-liners.
Fast-moving zombie hordes take over the world. One of the better films of this genre in recent times. Intense and violent, decent effects.
Beautifully filmed Michael Mann movie. L.A. should definitely get character billing. Moody, taut, nicely paced. Cruise makes a great baddie.
Disturbing ’70s exploitation revenge flick. Not for the weak stomached, not for everyone. It knows what it is, and it makes no apologies. Not meant for multiple viewings.
Underrated Bill Murray vehicle, the first half is among his best work. After a blazing start, it fizzles somewhat during the second half. All in all, still entertaining.
I recently saw this for the first since I was a kid. In my memory, it was one of the most violent and one of the scariest movies I had seen. I guess I’ve been fairly desensitized because that’s no longer the case. It’s still a good movie, it’s just not the one I remember.
The first half is your A-typical action flick with character introductions. The second half turns on a dime and becomes reminiscent of an ’80s action film. Over the action, gratuitous violence. Great stuff, great dialogue for the genre.
Creepy, intense, original little horror flick. Killer score, very John Carpenteresque. One of the best films of 2015; one of the best horrors in a long while.
