Station Agent, The – Quickie Review

This movie is beautiful. Touching, brutally honest, and very funny. The entire cast is dynamite. A powerhouse, star-making performance from Peter Dinklage. I love this movie.

Capturing The Friedmans – Quickie Review: 31 Nights Of Horror – Day 14 / Film #1

This is a very unsettling and horrific documentary about an upper-class Jewish family that is torn apart after the father and youngest son are accused of some heinous crimes. The movie does an excellent job of unfolding the story and it reveals everything unbiasedly as you hear arguments from both sides. Riveting, yet upsetting film.

Old School – Quickie Review

A great launching pad for Will Ferrell’s post SNL career. Vince Vaughn and Luke Wilson are also as the top of their game. So many very funny one-liners and sight gags. Good clean, raunchy fun.
