Totally original, totally inventive movie. Edgar Wright is at the top of his game. Endlessly funny, wonderfully creative. I only wish it performed better at the box office so there could have been a sequel. Michael Cera is perfect; Kieran Culkin steals every scene he’s in.

“Don’t worry about that. I’m very maternal. And Albert’s practically a breast.”
Darkly humourous, visually disgusting, perfect entertainment for warped minds like mine. Definitely not for everyone. I remember a few people getting up and leaving during the screening. The behind the scenes talent he assembled went on to do landmark films together and newer films are still …

“You piece of dirt! No, I’m wrong. You’re lower than dirt. You’re an ant!”
Terrific heist movie and one of Spike Lee’s most entertaining films. Clever script, lots of smart twists and turns along the way. Sharp performances by the two leads. Good fun.
