I am a sucker for movies about movies especially documentaries and this is easily one of my favourites. Jodorowsky’s passion for this project then and even now, more than 40 years later, is extraordinary and infectious. The behind the scenes talent he assembled went on to do landmark films together and newer films are still being influenced by this film that never was. And the on screen talent would have been one of the most eclectic of all time. A fascinating film. I absolutely love it.
