I’m under the belief that Michael Keaton won his Oscar for Birdman because he was overlooked for this movie. For the record, he was brilliant in Birdman as well. Michael is Beetlejuice. His performance is so gleefully over the top. The art direction is fantastic and magical as it is in nearly every Tim Burton film (I’m looking at you Planet Of The Apes). So imaginative and constantly entertaining.
