Near perfect, proudly Canadian, haunted house movie that was partly filmed less than 5 minutes away from the house in which I grew up. The movie is 35 years old and I saw it for the first time less than 10 years ago. It is the last movie to legitimately scare me. There’s a real sense of fear and dread throughout the movie. I haven’t watched it since but I want to so I can see if it has the same affect.
