I’m not 100% sure, but I think this movie is based on actual events. If not, it seems pretty authentic and plausible. I mean, Roger Corman isn’t known for schlock. The actors in this movie put on a clinic and I’ll bet ILM shit their pants when they saw these effects. This movie made me sad.
