A Poe adaptation starring Lance Henriksen, Mark Margolis, Jeffrey Combs, Happy Gilmore’s grandmother and it’s directed by Stuart Gordon? Yes, please! Set in Spain, during the time of the inquisitions. Almost fully American cast with American accents and using modern day turn of phase and colloquialisms. Very funny at times, purposefully. Very funny at times, accidentally. Henrikson hams it up as The Inquisitor. Not as violent as you’d expect from Gordon, but still silly fun.
