Ferris Bueller’s Day Off – Quickie Review

The film that single-handedly changed attendance taking forever. Modern classic which seems to play on a 24/7 loop on TV. While some of the jokes have lost their impact, the movie is as fun as ever. Highly addictive, once you start watching it, there is no stopping.

Station Agent, The – Quickie Review

This movie is beautiful. Touching, brutally honest, and very funny. The entire cast is dynamite. A powerhouse, star-making performance from Peter Dinklage. I love this movie.

Hard Core Logo – Quickie Review

One of my favourite music films and easily one of the best Canadian made films, right up there with the other Canuck classics: Ice Flow Jungle, Maple Syrup Blues and Hockey Homicide.

What We Do In The Shadows – Quickie Reviews

Clever mockumentary about aged vampires sharing a flat in New Zealand while trying to live day to day in today’s world. Effortlessly charming and brutally funny movie sprinkled with comically over the top bloodshed. Very entertaining.

This Is Where I Leave You – Quickie Review

Extremely funny and often very touching comedic-drama featuring a phenomenal ensemble cast. I was surprised about how much I enjoyed this movie. While there is absolutely no need for a sequel, I hope for one just so I could see this cast perform together again.
