I love movies about making movies. Throw that together with a Mamet script and you’ve got perfection. A magneficent satire chock-full of dry, dry humour and quick one-liners. This has a dream cast with the trio of William H. Macy, Alec Baldwin and the late Philip Seymour Hoffman shining the brightest.

The one movie that caused me to ask myself, “Why am I watching this?” Very disturbing, not for the weak stomached. I still didn’t turn it off.
