Uninvited, The (1944) – Quickie Review: 31 Nights Of Horror – Day 26 / Film #3

seanceWhat starts off as a whimsical countryside comedy, slowly morphs into a slapstick horror and then finally into a full-blooded suspense with a twisting script. Perhaps too much exposition to fully explain the goings-on, but entertaining nonetheless. Ray Milland is utterly charming in the lead.
